Outcome

Now, back to my unfortunate bookings. A total of 3 cases were filed with AK so call customer relations department. A week later, silence! As if my email got lost or sometin, not even acknowledged email being received.

I 'bey ta han', I wrote direct to that Tony guy at the same time forward to a few airline/travellers magazines. A total of 2 letters were send to him (posted previously), and skip the other coz I consider that minor case and I dun wan him thinking I had a complaint hobby.

This time, right the next day after that, some 'Ah Mau' email me (with 'chiat lat' broken English), asking when she would be able to get in touch with me regarding my upcoming booking. I told Ah Mau that either she can call me in New York, (cos I was really there and tried to make myself sound like an American. Wanna know the reason behind?) or another option, she can call me when I get back to Kuching on their flight Sunday.

Email was immediately replied, expecting their call on Monday after my return. On Sunday, aiyo! Din print flight itinerary for check-in, which is normally not required, rite? I thought this time 'Si liaw' cos I've often came accross AK staff sending passengers to their sales counter on the other end of the airport just to get their flight itinerary printed out for check-in. I had no idea what's with their Macau system. They check-in manually and all sorts of out-dated techniques. Weird!

Then my turn, they did not sent me running for my printed itinerary, but instead they told me my bag had been too heavy,.. over weight by 4 kg. I need to pay RM100. Must be some kind of prank they set up to get me! My fighting cock feather was ruffled, but I got no choice, so I said 'OK', dun misunderstand! I did not create a scene nor refused cos I am sick of fighting with them. Gives me another wrinkle nia.

But hor,.. they hand me my boarding pass and said, 'next time, please check your baggage's weight before checking in as we will not charge you this trip'. With my boarding pass, they gave me an Xpress boarding which I did not purchased. Ehhhh????

Then I realized she was looking at some sort of memo during checking me in and double check my passport towards that paper she was holding. Immediately, I assumed AK put me under a list of '*' passengers. (* means difficult to handle)

Apart form that, 6 out of 17 bookings for next year were re-routed, taking me from same departure port to same arrival port as in my original booking. Difference is merely making another stop in KL without paying extra. I was told by some holding same booking as mine that, AK only put them on KL - MFM v.v. but as flying to /from KL, they need to purchase another ticket themselves.

Of course, I did not share my info on 'How to get even with them!' Cos remember? I've still got 11 bookings pending which I haven't decide what to do with it yet. They told me, they will either transfer my whole ticket value to credit shell but valid for 3 months nia. I dun need to travel for the next 2 months, so I'll wait and see.

Maybe if I don't change my itinerary, they might think that I am up to sometin again,... SEE! Macam orang kata,... 'Tak Marah, Lu Tak Takut Punya!'

This one... FREE... no lah,.. I paid for it! hehehehe
