TUEN NG Festival (Dumpling festival) 31st May 2006

Today is Tuen Ng Festival, meaning dumpling festival. Look at this giant dumpling,.. just to let you know the exact size by placing a loaf of bread next to it, I am sure you know what I meant by giant,... inside, you can find 2 egg yolks, dal, pork, dried shrimp, mushroom, glutinious rice,..

And this is a teochew dumpling,... almost the same stuff you find inside compared with the one above,..

This is the smallest type,.... very yummy,....

We had dim sum for breakfast this morning,... look at all the favourite stuff BB and BOBO like,..

Two different types of Cheong Fun,.. the above wrapped with BBQ pork, steamed,....soaked in light soy sauce. As for the one below,.... wrapped with dried shrimp and fried till golden brown,...soaked in little light soy sauce as well but another sauce to go with it: peanut or sweet sauce as you can see on the side,...

Yummmy,..... all clear in no time,.... I think it took less than 30 mins for us to finish the whole breakfast,.. Ha! Ha!

In the evening, we had dinner with BB and BOBO's grandma, she bought this fish and it cost HKD100.00,.... so I am in-charge of steaming it, I should make sure not to over steam this expensive fish,... 15mins, not more or less,...

Wahhh,.... so much to eat,... we got soy sauce duck, BBQ pork, salt steamed chicken, mushroom fried with lettuce, red and white carrot soup,.. and of course the fish above,...
