Dad was so grateful to the staff in the hospital that he wanted us to write them a Thank You card,... after drafting this letter,... I had BOBO translated it to him in english style mandarin.....

Dear Sirs/Madam

On behalf of my family, I am writing this letter with gratitude and appreciation in my heart. On late Sunday evening, 16 November 2008, my father Mr. Teo Lian Tong was admitted to 5th Floor, Block F due to hypertension and liver abnormality.

In the middle of the night, my father, suffering from fatigue and dehydration fell on the floor while he was on his way to the washroom. Mr. Kwok Tse Tsing immediately helped him up and checked on his condition. My father later complaint about his uncomfortable legs which Mr. Kwok then helped rubbed some cream on. He provided reassurance and attended to him even though my father does not speak Cantonese.

Mr. Kwok Tze Tsing who became his guardian angel throughout the next few hours, is someone on your staff that should be very proud of. His compassion, understanding, strength, professionalism and kindness to him will never be forgotten.

The rest of the staff at your hospital especially nurses and doctors should also be congratulated. From the time he arrived to the time he was discharged, he observed that everyone was proficient, kind and professional. They were patience towards old aged patient regardless of their skin colour. At times, they remain kind and helpful eventhough they encountered demanding patient working under a lot of stress.

Dr. A. Yung and Dr. Mo Ka Lung were both very warm and kind. They made him felt special as their patient. Once again, we would like to offer our sincerest thanks to everyone in 5th Floor, Block F, for taking care of our father.

Now dad eats healthy food nia,.. every meal, mom steamed a small portion of fresh fish n blanched vegetables both without salt. He eats at regular time, that is having his dinner way earlier than all of us,.. at 5pm sharp.

This morning he bought us tomato and lettuce sandwich for our breakfast,.. NO MEAT? aiyo,.. too healthy ,.. not our style....

However, he still worried sick with his follow up , check up with the doctors tomolo,...

Tomorrow's Schedule:

8am - Required to take blood sample

3.30pm - Go back to meet gastroenterologist or hepatologist (liver specialist)
